Appearance

Deep bronze skin, grey eyes, and light brown hair with crimps and curls accent her features. She's small in size, around 5'2, her fit physique hidden under her clothing. Her usual clothing includes boots, long breeches, a nearly over-sized tunic with a fitting vest over in a variety of colors, though nothing usually too bright and attracting. It is not uncommon though, for her tops to be simple, such as a turtleneck or a long-sleeved blouse. She also now is always wearing an amulet that is adorned with symbols and decorations along the edge, hers being clouds, with symbols of a fish and a bird in the center.

Physical assessment

While her choices of clothing mask the extent of her physique, her small compact body is a result of hard labor. She is resilient and graceful in her movements, each move made with precision and no wasted effort. Her body does not reflect the mass of muscle, but rather toned lines that reflected endurance instead of immediate strength.

Identifying features

  • Long, light brown hair that is mostly of loose curls, though around the front of her face the locks turn into crimps.
  • An unnatural skin hue that had metallic underlines.
  • A small tattoo on the underside of her left wrist. It reflected the Elemental symbol of the sky.
  • Mass amounts of fire burns from the waist down. However, it is a rarity for her to allow this skin to be seen.

Weapons

  • There is a small dagger always on her body if she is away from home. It is also in a variety of places, such as on her left forearm or tucked away in her sock.
  • While in RhyDin, Storm does not carry her katana on her. However, she can within a moment, call it to her and have it fit in her hand like a glove. Down the center of the odd blue and grey metal are inscriptions of another language. Also, when her 'gift' is in full force, she can change the katana into twin blades, a broadsword, and a large ax. She will only do this for training purposes, and will never fight with her weapon being anything than a sword.

Personality and traits

Storm carries herself with silent confidence, and rarely draws attention to herself. Though a quiet observer, she does give a cold impression. She is usually easy going, not outgoing, but she can make friends with ease, and share a conversation with almost anyone. Polite upbringing, she is conciliatory in social behaviors that show tension or distrust. But, she has a temper of something wicked, and is protective, sometimes to a point of becoming unreasonable. In dire situation, she is quick to become self-sacrificial in her intentions.

Mannerisms

  • While thinking or listening into conversations, Storm usually has a difficult time staying still, and so she will use her fingers to tap on a surface or the side of her cup.
  • When nervous or unsure, she usually licks her lips.
  • After spending long periods of time with another individual, Storm will pick up on their habits and mannerisms.

Training and skills

Growing up with traditional Air Elemental teachings, all Airs are taught how to:

  • Create dense air platforms that can act like shields, hold something, or be thrown.
  • Stir and create winds of moderate size and speed.
  • Use the wind to communicate from wide distances.
  • Fly by using air platforms.
  • Manipulate the air by making it denser, lighter, etc.
  • Create fog.

At the age of ten, children are tested for the areas in which they are strongest. Storm's talents lying in weather, her teachings continued to:

  • Manipulating the weather.
  • Creating and controlling storms (lightning, rain, etc).
  • In dire occasions, creating catastrophe's such as tornadoes and hurricanes. These however, take a great deal of power and control and if performed incorrectly, can be fatal.

All powers involving the air use the air that is around them, and is not created within. The ability to create air and power lies within the Elemental, but it takes a considerable amount of strength and power to create the smallest of manipulations. With Storm being created as the 'Divine', she has limited abilities in using the other elements, but they are very energy consuming.

All Air Elementals are taught the basics with a katana. With her chosen profession, she has mastered the katana as her weapon, but is proficient in several others:

  • Twin blades
  • Broadsword
  • Giant Axe
  • Archery

However, she will almost never choose these weapons to use if the situation arises.

Air Elementals are also taught the basics of hand to hand combat. This style is closely related to kick boxing in the stance and movement. Airs are taught that no motion is wasted effort, and are encouraged endurance to prolong the battle and wait for their opponents to tire before attacking.

Childhood

Storm grew up in a traditional culture in the Air Realm. Though she was without a living mother, her father encouraged her to partake in feminine things; such as knitting, dancing, literature, and music. Though she succeed in most fields (except for knitting), she spent more time playing in the open area rather than practicing her piano or reading. The early years of her life were pleasant, having a friendly community of people, as well as plenty of playmates of her own age, varying from all sorts of Elementals.

At the tender age of eleven, her fantasy childhood changed. One day she was sparring with a childmate named Jeremiah Pahadaz, thick wooden swords being their only weapon of choice. He was fifteen, already becoming a man with his physique and attitude; Storm on the other hand, was short, skinny, and had a sharp mouth. She was quicker than him, taunting him as she slipped in jabs to his ribcage, declaring him dead over and over again. Finding the talented girl more than irritating, Jeremiah took her challenge and raised large rocks, breaking the rules of using their gifts, and hurled them towards her. Having little control of her own gift, she acted purely on instinct, building a wall of air around her, and fire raised out of her fingertips. Though the fire caught life on the rocks, her shield was not enough as the boulders hit her, knocking her unconscious and creating an earthly cave around her.

Terrified by his actions, he tried to move the boulders, but due to the flames, he could only burn himself. So he ran into town, tears running down his face as he found Cornelious, Storm's father. Cornelious was able to free Storm from under the rocks, but she was so injured that it took her months to fully recover. After that incident, it was known that Storm had more abilities than others, and it was a danger to her existence if the word spread. So, the accident was hidden, and Storm continued through her growing years away from the other children, honing down her fighting techniques and controlling her gift.

Present time

Storm now resides in both Rhydin and the Air Realm. Married to Ewan Corinsson, they watch over their sons, Avery and Kellan in their home just behind the Marketplace. She has recently become a founding member of the Merry Mischief Making Misfits Clan, and holds the titles of Clan Advisor and Sr. Clan Instructor on How to be Innocent with the nickname "Ace in the Hole."
